Southern Tier Run Club is officially a thing, and you are invited to join them on their first run tonight!

Here’s the deal: The new beer running club, helmed by Jon Lyons of Run215, will meet up tonight at the PHS pop-up beer garden on South Street (1438 South Street) at 7 p.m. for a three-mile out-and-back run that will take you across the Schuylkill Banks Boardwalk, all paces welcome. Once back at the pop-up garden, you’ll down some beer — Southern Tier specials will be flowing, of course — and get your relaxation on.

From here on out, the runs will be held on the first Tuesday of every month, and the necessary info for them — time, meeting place and so on — will be posted here. And get this: Lyons tell us, come fall, they’ll also be hosting brunch runs. BRUNCH runs, people!

To join in on tonight’s run, just RSVP here, then show up to the PHS pop-up garden at 7 p.m. ready to pound the pavement.
