Yoga With Jake: How to Become a Balancing Master
Every week, we post a new yoga routine from local instructor Jake Panasevich. Panasevich’s specialty is yoga for men (you can learn more about him on his website here), but these routines works for ladies, as well! So grab your yoga mat and get your downward dog on, friends.
This week, Jake is showing us all, step by step, how to nail standing hand-to-foot pose — a pose that can leave a lot of us feeling like a tree branch on a windy day, swaying back and forth. As he explains, this particular balancing pose is a great one to work into your daily practice as a way to build your coordination and strength.
And don’t be discouraged: As he says, “You’re going to fall out 100 times. The idea is to keep getting back in it.” Food for thought for more than just the yoga mat, are we right?
