Lemon Hill’s New Saturday-Morning Yoga Series Starts This Weekend
Hey runners, we’re thinking this is the perfect incentive to get you running hills every week: The Fairmount Park Conservancy is hosting a weekly yoga series on Lemon Hill every Saturday from June 27th through September 19th (except for July 4th), starting this weekend. Meaning: After you get your hills in, you can get your well-earned Savasana on. See? Incentive.
The hourlong, all-levels classes will be led by yoga instructors Emile Sorger, Justine Bacon and Nicole Taylor, and will kick off every Saturday morning at 9 a.m. The series is free for Fairmount Park Conservancy members, and there’s a $10 suggested donation for non-members. But the first class, this Saturday, June 27th, will be free for everyone. Woohoo!
This weekend, they’ll also be giving away free yoga mats to the first five pre-registered people to show up. You can learn more about the series and pre-register here.
