Local (and Healthier) Alternatives to McDonald’s Shamrock Shake
If you have plans to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day tomorrow with a McDonald’s Shamrock Shake (hey, we all have our things), may we make one tiny suggestion? Two of our favorite local spots are offering healthier alternatives to Mickey D’s signature green milkshake, featuring ingredient lists you can actually feel good about. Fancy that!
Fuel debuted its Not a Shamrock Shake this weekend at all three Fuel locations. It’s made with sugar-free peppermint, skim or soy milk, vanilla protein and fresh spinach. It’ll run you between 133 and 164 calories and pack about 25 grams of protein. The shake is available through March 31st. Show this tweet when you order to get a dollar off.
Over at Sip-N-Glo Juicery in Bella Vista, you can try the Lucky Clover smoothie. It includes mint, spinach, vanilla, vanilla protein, cashews and almond milk. The Lucky Clover will be available through the end of the month.
