If your glory days of high-school track are long behind you (but, let’s be serious, you still replay the highlights in your head every single day), mark your calendar for October 16th. Philly-based Back On My Feet is hosting a free track meet, where you can test your chops and (juuuuust maybe) reclaim some of your old bragging rights.

The for-fun track meet will be held at the Temple University Track (Montgomery Avenue and North 15th Street) next Thursday night. The event will kick off with a community 400-meter lap, followed by your choice of 100-meter, 1600-meter, 3200-meter, and distance medley relay races. The relays will feature four people per team, completing 1600m, 1200m, 800m, 400m distances. All events will be hand-timed.

The fun gets underway at 6, but plan to arrive around 5:30. Sign up here.
