Staying in town this weekend? There are plenty of cheap—or even free—fitness activities on tap to keep you busy. Here’s to a very sweaty Memorial Day weekend!

FRIDAY

Free Weekend of Classes at Purenergy

Every Friday evening at 5:45, new Paoli fitness studio Purenergy hosts a free one-hour yoga class. But this weekend, they’re adding to the awesomeness, with a pretty sweet promotion for new clients: All classes this weekend are free for newbies, if you sign up using this Memorial Day promo deal. SATURDAY

Power Jam Stretch at Philly Dance Fitness

This is an every-Saturday class, but I think you should add it to your calendar. The 50-minute class packs a mash-up punch by combining yoga, dance, strength training, Pilates and Tai Chi. You build flexibility, balance and all-over strength. $12; Headlong Studios, 1170 South Broad Street, South Philly.

SUNDAY

Community Yoga at Philly Yoga Factory with Lululemon Philadelphia

Lulu’s free Philly class this season is every Sunday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Philly Yoga Factory, which operates out of Bikram Yoga Philadelphia. The class is heated, so you’ll want to bring a towel and water; mats can be borrowed from the studio. FREE; 1520 Sansom Street, Center City.

Memorial Day Outdoor HIIT Workout at the Wall Cycling Studio

The Manayunk Spin studio is hosting a special long-weekend outdoor HIIT workout with owner Juliet Sabella. The hourlong workout, which starts at 8:30 a.m., will include bouts of hard work and short rest periods for the ultimate calorie burn. $10 (pay on site); 100 Levering Street, Manayunk. 

MONDAY

Yoga in the Garden with Bee Inspired Yoga

South Jersey yoga studio Bee Inspired Yoga just launched a new outdoor yoga class on Monday nights. Meet at 7 p.m. at Pratt Gardens in Sharptown, New Jersey, for a one-hour Vinyasa class. Bring your own mat. $10; 158 County Home Road, Sharptown.

Yoga on the Pier

The Race Street Pier yoga series, run by Dhyana Yoga’s Malik Wilson, is hosting a special Memorial Day class at 11 a.m. It’s free, and open to all levels. Bring your own mat. FREE; Columbus Boulevard and Race Street, Delaware Riverfront.
