To Do Tonight: Free Food-Documentary Screening at the Kimmel Center
Don’t have plans for this rainy Wednesday night? How about this: The latest food-industry documentary, Fed Up, hits theaters on May 9th, but there’s a free preview screening tonight at 6:30 at the Kimmel Center.
From the movie description:
Fed Up blows the lid off everything we thought we knew about food and weight loss, revealing a 30-year campaign by the food industry, aided by the U.S. government, to mislead and confuse the American public, resulting in one of the largest health epidemics in history.
The film was produced by Katie Couric, of TV journalism fame, of course, and Laurie David, who also produced An Inconvenient Truth.
Free tickets for tonight’s screening are available here.
