Here’s How Long an Average Sex Session Lasts in PA

Leave it to Gawker to clue us in on a new list that ranks These United States according to the average length of their residents’ sex sessions. The website Nerve actually did the legwork, using data from a sex-tracking app called Spreadsheets. According to the figures, sex sessions in Pennsylvania last, on average, two minutes and 58 seconds—putting us almost exactly smack dab in the middle of the sack pack. We rank at #24 overall.
Residents who log the longest (and, presumably, most passionate…?) sex sessions—we’re talking just over seven minutes, here—live in New Mexico. Those who spend the least time between the sheets live in Alaska; their sex sessions average just 1:21.
The only state locally to almost crack the top 10 is Delaware, which came in at #11 (juuuuust missed the mark), where residents have sex for an average 3:33. If Philadelphians are looking for local bragging rights, they can always throw this in New Jersey’s face: Residents there wrap it up in about 2:28. So … there’s that.
