To Do: Gluten-Free Thanksgiving Sides Workshop at Greensgrow Farms
It’s not easy following a gluten-free diet, but it’s especially difficult doing so during the holiday season. If you’re feeling a tad daunted by the gluten-laden gluttony to come, don’t fret: Greensgrow is here to help!
On November 9th, the Kensington-based urban farm will host the Undercover Gluten-Free Workshop: Thanksgiving Sides (because, let’s be honest, it’s all about the stuffing), where participants will learn the basics of gluten-free cooking and go home with some drool-worthy recipes to prepare on the big day.
NBC’s Next Local TV Chef winner Laura Hahn will demonstrate how to whip up delicious gluten-free and vegetarian holiday options like roasted apple and sweet potato canapés, rice stuffing and rum walnut cake. Triple yum, right?
