Feel the Love 5K
Who it’s for: Competitive couples
What it is: This race, organized by Bryn Mawr Running Company, adds a bit of friendly competition to the Valentine’s Day spirit. Grab your cutie and get moving, because this race is crowning the couple with the best overall combined time as the winner. Top competitors are eligible for some great prices and everyone is able to attend an after party at XFinity Live!
$25 before February 7th, $35 after; race day is February 9th at 3:30 p.m., Philadelphia Navy Yard.
Valentine’s Day Singles Run
Who it’s for: Solo runners
What it is: A fun and super popular race just for singles. Cost includes admission to an after-party at Ladder 15, two drinks at the bar, light food, and a Brooks running shirt. And who knows? With all the commitment-free singles running around, maybe you’ll even find a Valentine’s Day date. (Note: The race is sold out for women, but there are still spots left for guys.)

Cupid’s Undie Run
Who it’s for: Anyone not afraid to strip down
What it is: A one-mile jaunt in your underwear, with an after-party to follow. Need we say more?

Blue Cross RiverRink’s Sweetheart Skate
Who it’s for: Hopeless romantics
What it is: Spend the night skating away while holding your sweetie’s mitten-clad hand. A DJ will set the romantic mood by playing all your favorite love songs. If that’s not enough, a complimentary red flower will be provided to the ladies, and couples will leave with a free sweetheart photo keepsake. The event will be just enough of a cliche to make your evening perfect.

For the LOVE of Rowing
Who it’s for: Gym rats

Valentine’s Day Couples’ Yoga

What it is: Synergy by Jasmine provides the perfect opportunity for you and your partner to get closer than ever with couples’ yoga for beginners. The two-hour session is complete with a guided massage lesson and a fireside snuggle with herbal tea, cheese and chocolate after the yoga session.

Valentine’s Day Partner Yoga and Thai Massage Workshop

What it is: Body Cycle Studio’s Jess Sullivan is so over this mushy holiday. Her Anti-Valentine’s Day Ride is all about celebrating your love for the most important person in your life: you. Riders will be asked to share what they love most about themselves (hello, affirmations!). With the hardcore beats and heart pumping music, there’s nothing sappy about it.
