10 Healthy Apple Recipes for Fall
If you kept up with Be Well Philly on Facebook this weekend, you know I spent yesterday picking apples at Solebury Orchards in New Hope. It was an absolutely lovely fall day, and having never picked apples before (I know, I know—what have I been doing these past 28 years of life?!) it was a really fun way to spend a Sunday.
It wasn’t until I’d hauled my load of apples home when it finally hit me: Huh. What will I do with eight pounds of apples? And so you have this, dear readers: a roundup of 10 yummy apple recipes that I can’t wait to dive into this season. On my definites list: Maple-Cinnamon Applesauce, Overnight Apple Butter, and Apple Salsa. Which recipes below strike your fancy? Or, even better, what are your favorite ways to eat and cook with apples? Share your recipes in the comments!
