Poll: Nearly Half of Americans Don’t Know That Joe Paterno Was Never Accused of Molesting Children

A new poll—commissioned by the website FramingPaterno.com and conducted by Wilson Perkins Allen Opinion Research—indicates that only 55 percent of Americans are correctly aware that Joe Paterno was not accused of molesting children. The poll relies on responses from 1,000 adults. It shows that Pennsylvania residents were more informed than people from other states. The poll was paid for by documentary filmmaker and radio host John Ziegler.
