The Penthouses at 10 Rittenhouse in Various States of Undress
His and hers sinks? Please. At 10 Rittenhouse, the master bedrooms in select penthouse units come with entire his and hers bathrooms. The Robert A.M. Stern-designed building’s penthouses range from 2,210 square feet to 5,570 square feet, and have two to four bedrooms with between two-and-a-half and five-and-a-half baths. The two largest penthouses, located on the 28th floor, are so big that they require secondary exits to keep in compliance with fire code.
Priced between $2.1 million and $5.975 million, most units feature balconies with breathtaking views of Rittenhouse Square in addition to enormous walk-in closets, marble baths with soaking tubs, and the usual high-end appliances. The two biggest penthouse units come with a balcony apiece as well as an uncovered terrace.
Dranoff Properties, acting sales and marketing agent for the Center City condo, is also in the process of expanding the amenities area so that it will comprise the entire third floor. In addition to a pool and fitness center, construction will soon be complete on a music room, wine storage and tasting areas, a business center, a card room, and several other multipurpose spaces.
Dranoff has seven penthouses left to sell, but if you’re interested in something a bit more stately, you might prefer the luxury building’s private townhome, the Rittenhouse Club.
The Rittenhouse Club is a standalone, three-story building fronting the northern side of Rittenhouse Square. It may be sold as two separate units (the ground floor going as one residence and the upper two floors going as the other) or as one enormous townhome. Dranoff is offering the property raw (meaning you’ll have to bring in your own architect to finish the interior) at a price point that has yet to be finalized. In addition to an elevator connecting the home directly to the garage, the Rittenhouse Club has a ground-level patio out back and a 900-square-foot terrace on the top floor. Buyer(s) at the Club will have access to the same concierge services and amenities offered to condo unit owners.
