That’s the message today with a two-person trade for outfielder Ben Revere, a little-known but highly regarded Twins outfielder slated to take over the Phils’ centerfield position. We traded off pitchers Trevor May and Vance Worley for Revere, who batted .294 and stole 40 bases this year. The leftie has spent only two years in the majors, but Phil’s GM Ruben Amaro Jr. says Revere is an “outstanding, young, controllable” player that fits right in with the team.
