Philly Priest’s Retrial Set for March

A judge has set the retrial of Reverend James Brennan—the Philly priest charged with the 1996 attempted rape of a 14-year-old alter boy—for March 6th. Brennan was tried along with Monsignor William Lynn earlier this year, but a jury came back deadlocked on all of the charges he faced. Lynn was sentenced to at least three years in prison back in July. A pretrial hearing for Rev. James Brennan has been set for March 4th. [Inquirer]
