Nationals Manager Davey Johnson Said the Phillies Fire Sale Was Fun to Watch
Nationals manager Davey Johnson was on a D.C. sports talk radio show on Tuesday when he said that he has no sympathy for the Phillies’ struggles. He continued, saying that the Phillies fire sale (that sent Shane Victorino and Hunter Pence to the Dodgers and Giants respectively) was fun to watch. Then, he went ahead and grew himself a handlebar mustache so that he could twist it after he tied Lois Lane to the train tracks. Oh, and then his team lost two consecutive games to the depleted Phillies. [Washington Post]
