Governor Corbett Says Penn State Officials Didn’t Cooperate in Sandusky Investigation

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett says that Penn State University officials did not cooperate in the Jerry Sandusky investigation and are likely the subjects of a subsequent investigation by the state Attorney General’s office. Governor Corbett was the Attorney General in 2009 when the investigation into Jerry Sandusky was launched. He says that they subpoenaed emails from the top officials at Penn State—presumably to analyze the correspondence highlighted in the Freeh Report—but that the information was never turned over.
