Rapper Beanie Sigel Sentenced to Two Years in Prison

Rapper and South Philly native Beanie Sigel has more to worry about than whether or not his beef with Jay-Z has been quashed. On Thursday, a federal judge sentenced Sigel to two years in prison for tax evasion. Sigel didn’t file tax returns for 2003-2005. The 38-year-old pleaded guilty to the charges in August of 2011. The rapper has until September to turn himself in. He previously served time for federal gun and drug offenses. [Daily News]
