Senators Bob Casey and Pat Toomey and U.S. Representative Glenn Thompson signed a letter to President Obama today nominating the long-time head coach of the Nittany Lions football program for the highest honor an American citizen can receive. The politicians cited his dedication to developing student-athletes in the true sense of the term as motivation for putting him up for the award.
