Get Hitched at NYC Pride

New York City’s PrideFest is just around the corner (June 24) and one lucky same-sex couple could win the big gay wedding of their dreams. NuVo Condoms is seeking gay couples who would like to tie the knot this month. In honor of its own first anniversary, NuVo is sponsoring the first-ever same-sex wedding at PrideFest.

Here’s how it works:

Interested couples should post a 60-second video describing why they deserve to win to NuVo Condom’s Facebook page.

Not quite ready for your closeup? You can also e-mail a couple’s photo, contact information and a brief paragraph on why you should be selected to nuvo@nuvocondoms.com.

The deadline for submission is June 18th by 12 p.m. If selected, the winning couple will need to obtain a marriage license from the State of New York in advance of the ceremony.

If you are the lucky winner, you and your partner will also receive an all-expense-paid trip to New York City with an overnight stay at the new posh Out NYC Hotel, the first “straight-friendly” hotel in the city.

The ceremony – which will take place during PrideFest – will be officiated by Celebrant Kim Kirkley and include complimentary catering from Markie B’s Jamaican Cuisine of East Elmhurst, N.Y., and floral arrangements by Mr. Bokay Flowers. In addition, NuVo Condoms will be donating $1,000 to the couple for their honeymoon.

“We are excited about this event – we continue to create awareness for our brand, and more importantly the critical need for greater safe sex practices,” says Behn Goldis, spokesperson for NuVo Condoms. “NuVo condoms is also committed to the LGBT community, and will continue to seek out fun and different ways to support this important group here in New York.”
