HughE Dillon One-Shot: Graham Nash at the Shore
On Sunday night, singer Graham Nash (Crosby, Stills and Nash) held his first art exhibit at Oceans Galleries in Stone Harbor (9618 Third Avenue). He told me he’s been photographing since before he got into music. Since the 1960s he’s been capturing a lot of his bandmates and rock-and-roll friends. Recently, he’s gotten into ink and pastels like with this print called “The Kiss,” which depicts him and wife Susan in the embrace. Art collectors Dan and Mary Jo Gaumer, of Quakertown, purchased the piece. On Saturday afternoon, Nash’s bandmate David Crosby checked out the exhibit. The show runs through July 8th.
