First Look at Race Street Pier

The finishing touches taking place at Race Street Pier this morning.

I’ve been running past the soon-to-open Race Street Pier most mornings for the past few weeks, and it’s been a lot of fun to see it come into shape. The trees they’ve been driving in are finally up and look as though they’ve been growing there for quite some time. I stopped to snap a picture just for you this morning and one of the construction workers told me that tomorrow morning … I’ll be able to run on it. Can’t wait! Isn’t it beautiful in the early morning, especially with the bridge in the background?
