Run a 5K With Fido

Two furry runners make friends at last year's Paws & Feet 5K.

Grab your pooch and head to Exton this Saturday, May 14, for the The Dog Jog 5-K and 1-Mile Run. All proceeds will benefit the Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (PSPCA). The mile race starts at 8:30AM and the 5K kicks off at 9AM. The PSPCA adoption van will also be on site … just in case Fido needs a new friend. $18 before May 13, $20 on race day. If you’re closer to Jersey, take your furry friend to the 14th-Annual Paws & Feet 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk at Cooper River Park, also this Saturday, May 14.  Proceeds benefit the more than 10,000 homeless animals that the Animal Welfare Association will care for this year. After the race, you and your pet can chill for a bit at the Mutt’s Mingle, which will feature vendor tables, food, music, a Search & Rescue Demo, a Police Dog Demo, and a Pet CPR Demo. $25, Saturday, May 14, Cooper River Park, North Park Drive, Cherry Hill.
