Office Challenge Tip of the Day No. 7: Make a Pledge to Take the Stairs!

We hear this all of the time, but it’s so easy to get lazy and ride the elevator to the second floor. Even walking or jogging up a few flights of stairs elevates heart rate (cardio!) and leave you feeling inspired, energized—and leaner over time.

Also, take opportunities to get up and walk away from your desk — it’s a quick way to refresh your body and mind! Instead of checking your buddies’ latest Facebook stats, aim for short walks around the office two to three times a day for at least two to three minutes. These short breaks will help relieve the body of both physical and mental stress.
