Chase to Bring ‘The Experience’ to Philadelphia Business Owners on May 14
Signature event with informational sessions to provide local business owners with best practices to help grow their business
It’s no secret that Philadelphia is known for its spirit, and that same drive powers the city’s commerce. Of the more than 44,000 businesses based in Philadelphia, 90 percent are small businesses—and behind each of them are inspired entrepreneurs using their creativity to make a mark on the area.
To support Philadelphia’s entrepreneurs as they start, run and grow their businesses, Chase for Business is inviting local business owners to The Experience: Philadelphia, a complimentary, all-day event packed with learning and networking opportunities, on May 14. The event will take place at City Winery Philadelphia (990 Filbert Street) from 1:00 to 7:30 p.m. Attendees will hear directly from leading business experts and be able to network with other entrepreneurs. Activities and topics include:
- During the day (1 p.m. to 5 p.m.) – Participants will have the chance to sign up for personalized marketing workshops with industry experts, network with fellow business owners and hear from local experts and market leaders in insightful talks and panel discussions. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to snap a professional headshot and stop by the local Chase for Business Marketplace with giveaways from:
- Entertainment and Networking (5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.) – Following the mainstage programming, The Experience: Philadelphia will continue with an evening of entertainment and networking, including food, drink and music.
“Philadelphia is full of entrepreneurs who have a proven track record of being resourceful, flexible and full of passion,” says Ben Walter, CEO of Chase for Business. “We hope to become a stronger partner to the business community in Philadelphia, to help business owners feel confident with each move they make along their journey.”
The Experience: Philadelphia is the final signature event being held in major small business markets across the U.S. this year (the others are Atlanta on May 1 and D.C. on May 8). These signature events are intended to bring Chase’s national business resources to select cities in a way that is convenient for business owners, allowing them to learn helpful tips and gain access to the resources they need for growing their business.
