Malvern Company Thinks Its Drug Can Treat Penis Curvature

Auxilium—a Malvern-based pharmaceutical company—has a new drug that, trials show, can help men who suffer from Peyronie’s disease. Men with Peyronie’s disease have a fibrous plaque that, in many instances, can cause their penises to curve when erect. In two trials, many patients on Auxilium’s Xiaflex saw a significant reduction in penis curvature. The drug has previously been used to treat fingers that were permanently bent toward the palm.
