500 (500!) Fish Found Dead in Small Camden County Lake

A biologist from the New Jersey Department of Fish and Wildlife arrived at Runnemede Lake in Camden County this morning to find 300-500 dead carp “bloated and in advanced stage of decay.” No cause of death has been reported. Maybe a strain of that “silent” flesh-eating parasite terrorizing Syria right now? Anyways, there’s joke in here somewhere about “swimming with the fishes,” but it just isn’t coming to me.
