Ditch those pesky rain plans and bring your favorite elements from an outdoor wedding indoors. Regina and Jeff left no space untouched by nature as water cascaded from fountains, tabletops sprouted trees, and chandeliers dripped with lush greenery. Lending intimacy to the gardenesque scenes were tea lights delicately hanging from trees and cozy lounges for guests to relax. Craft your own nature-inspired atmosphere by incorporating hanging florals, potted plants, and garden statues into your design.

Let the Drinks Roll

Upgrade from popping bottles to having your favorite libations on tap. Continuing with their Italian theme, Regina and Jeff kept the Prosecco flowing all night with the Roving Bar. Roving bars are a surefire way to liven up your celebration as guests take advantage of something truly unique in the Philly wedding scene. Plus, they’re photo op gold.

Serve Local Themed Foods & Favors

It’s always a nice touch to include your favorite local fare as a part of your big day. It’s a fun way to honor your roots and treat out-of-towners who otherwise may not have had time to sample local flavors. For Regina and Jeff, they decided to include two Philly favorites, mini cheesesteaks (of course!) and Reading Terminal Market mainstay, Bassett’s ice cream.

Mix & Match Settings

Say bye-bye to color coordinated wedding décor. Instead, opt for complimentary colors and alternate between them. The Nurks went with an ombré effect incorporating colors from the Tuscan sunset. Their Cocktail Hour consisted of peachy pinks, yellows, and oranges that faded into violets, sky blues, and grays for the reception. For the reception tablescapes, they crafted unique yet coordinated designs based around their two signature colors—deep purple and teal. To pull the whole look together, they layered on metallics.

Add Vintage Touches

By adding a touch of old-world glamour to your big day you can express the timelessness of your love, through simple details.
