Scoop up tons of deals at the Boathouse Sports factory sale on October 12 and 13.
It’s kind of stupid how often I do laundry just because I’m all out of clean leggings (and, um, you’re welcome that I like you too much to wear the dirty, sweaty ones to a class). Thankfully, there are plenty of places to find new gear on the cheap — especially this weekend, when Boathouse Sports in North Philly is hosting a huge, can’t-miss factory sale.

While the Philly-based manufacturer — founded by Olympic rower John Strotbeck — may be known for their rowing gear, they’ve got tons of athletic apparel in stock (we hear the jackets are particularly great). This weekend, at a factory sale — a term we’re using literally, as the sale will actually take place in the brand’s factory — will have the Boathouse Sports gear available at a major discount, up to 80 percent off.
Up for grabs at the sale are men’s and women’s jackets, leggings, tanks, shorts, shirts, hoodies, and more from the brand’s overstock, clearance, and sample clothing collection. Just to give you an idea of what kinds of prices we’re talking about, the navy blue leggings (pictured above) will run you just $24 (normally $68), the grey Equinox jacket $42 (it originally retailed for $118, guys), and the shorts and tank just $14 apiece. Leggings for under $30? Those are the kinds of prices we can get behind.
The sale is scheduled for Friday, October 12 from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, October 13 from 8 a.m. to noon. Our advice? Get there early so you don’t miss out on the best options. The Boathouse Sports factory sale will be located at 425 East Hunting Park Avenue. Happy deal hunting!
