Voting Is Now Open for the Health Hero Challenge Semifinals
Voting for the Health Hero Challenge semifinals round will remain open through October 2.
It’s here! It’s finally here! After receiving hundreds of nominations for our next Be Well Philly Health Hero Challenge, sponsored by Independence Blue Cross, our editorial team narrowed it town to 10 semifinalists. Now it’s YOUR turn to cast YOUR vote to help us determine who will be the next Be Well Philly Health Hero!
Voting opens today, September 4, and will remain open through October 2. Throughout that time, you can vote once a day, every day, for the person you think is most deserving of the 2018 Health Hero title. You can also help us select our winning Health Hero VIP (Very Influential Philadelphian) by voting on one of the three VIPs in the competition.
As a reminder, once the semifinals voting is complete, the top three vote-getters will move on to the finalist round. After a second round of voting, we will be able to determine the ultimate winner of the Health Hero Challenge, who will receive a $10,000 donation to the charity of their choosing. The two runners up will receive $2,500 donations to their selected charities as well.
Ready to get to votin’? Here’s a reminder of the 10 semifinalists — you can click on each name to read more about them. Then head right here to cast your vote — and don’t forget to come back to vote again tomorrow, and the day after!
