Two Fairmount Fitness Studios Are Teaming Up for Shared Class Packages
Neighboring Fairmount fitness studios BPM Fitness and Lumos Barre & Yoga are partnering to bring you the best of both worlds.
We all know that variety is important in any fitness plan — doing all yoga, all the time (or all spin, barre, etc.), isn’t the best option. When it comes to physical challenges, variety is always a good idea. That’s why we’re pretty pumped that two Fairmount fitness studios, BPM Fitness and Lumos Yoga & Barre, are teaming up to provide workouts that’ll constantly keep your body guessing.
On August 28, the Fairmount fitness studios are pairing up for a kick-off of the new collaboration in the form of a 90-minute workout called “Flow Rider.” The class will include 25 minutes of spin and 25 minutes of TRX resistance training, led by BPM’s Shoshana Katz, followed by a 40-minute yoga flow, led by Lumos’ Larkin Silverman. This event is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on August 28, and there are still spots available here.
If you can’t make it tonight, no worries: The studios are already planning to repeat the collaboration on September 16, with another 90-minute partnership. But aside from these pop-up events, the studio owners also tell us that they’re looking to create some shared class packages — like an eight-pack that gets you four classes at BPM, four at Lumos, so you can purchase your cardio, strength, barre, and yoga classes all at once. What more could you need?
The class packages are not currently available, but they should go live around the time of the second collaborative event on September 16. Keep an eye out on both Fairmount fitness studios’ websites for more details here and here.
The pop-up event on August 28 will take place at BPM Fitness, located at 1808 Spring Garden Street.
