This Free Yoga Series Includes a Live Deejay and Happy Hour
Be Well Philly's Summer Yoga Flow is BACK and better than ever.
It’s summer, people, and in Philly, that means it’s free yoga season. And once again, Be Well Philly is getting in on the fun with our own Summer Yoga Flow series, led by the talented and fabulous Three Queens Yoga. Get ready to replace your weekly happy hours with an hour-long flow to the beats of a live deejay, followed by drinks.
In past years, we’ve held these free yoga sessions outdoors. This year, however, we’re moving the classes into the gorgeous, sunlit Atrium at the Curtis Center in Washington West. Because while we love outdoor yoga, we have to admit it has some downsides — like bugs, UV rays, and unbearable heat (especially in July!). So this year, you’ll have a little thing called air conditioning (insert praise-hands emoji) to keep you from melting in the summer sun. Plus, The Curtis atrium is seriously gorgeous — and it’s got a trickling marble fountain for some serious ambiance, too. I mean, just look:
We’ll be popping up at this atrium on Tuesday nights through July — specifically, July 10, 17, 24, and 31. On those select evenings, Three Queens Yoga will lead us through an hour-long sesh at 6 p.m., our live deejay will keep the tunes bumpin’ throughout, and then we’ll all sip some samples from Belvedere Vodka, Michelob Ultra, and Steaz (um, yes please). And, as an added incentive to spend your happy hour with us, we’ll also be giving away all kinds of fun prizes (last year, we gave away a FitBit Charge and Bose SoundSport headphones — juuuuust sayin’).
So, how do you get in on our Summer Yoga Flow? Just show up! It’s literally that easy — there’s no need to pre-register. Bring your mat, some water, and all your fit friends, and get ready for the best happy hours of the summer.
See you there!
