We Did Stand-Up Paddle Board Yoga in a Sky-High Infinity Pool
A look at this month's Be Well Philly Underground pop-up workout.
Another month, another incredible BWP Underground pop-up. This month, we hit up AKA University City’s Level 28 club for stand-up paddle board yoga with Aqua Vida. From the class to the views to the açaí bowls, it was a night to remember.
In case you’re not familiar with BWP Underground, it’s our super-secret pop-up workout series. Each month, thanks to the generosity of our sponsors Independence Blue Cross and Verizon, we’re able to head to a local fitness center for a free workout. Want in on the fun? Joining Underground is totally free — you just need to sign up here. We are about to break for the season, but don’t worry! Underground will be back in action starting in September.
But back to last night. We had a blast trying out SUP yoga with Aqua Vida in Level 28’s infinity pool — did you guys know yoga is like, way, way harder when you’re trying not to fall in a pool?
In between the SUP yoga classes, we snacked on açaí bowls, courtesy of Rittenhouse’s new SoBol shop, sipped rosé and cocktails made with Stateside Vodka and Honest Tea, did face masks, and tried out acro yoga with Rob Li of Torc Yoga.
In between all the activities and snacks, we spent some time exploring Level 28’s rooftop terrace, golf simulator room, and movie theater. Needless to say, we kept busy allllll night long — and had a crazy-good time throughout.
We’re so thankful for our partners and sponsors who make fun events like this possible, and we hope to see you at the next one! Make sure to sign up now, then keep an eye on your inbox in September for the next season of BWP Underground.
