Shop and Sip at Northern Liberties’ Second Street Sessions
Bars and boutiques on North 2nd Street are making holiday gift shopping easy, fun, and boozy this Saturday.

Whether you love holiday shopping (it’s an excuse to buy things that will hopefully delight your loved ones!) or dread it (it costs money and it’s so hard to find something your loved one will actually like!), the friendly business owners on North 2nd Street have your back.
Bars, restaurants, shops, and galleries are hosting Second Street Sessions: Holiday Edition, a day of shopping and sipping along Northern Liberties’ main drag.
This Saturday, December 9th, you can shop for one-of-a-kind gifts and take advantage of discounts at spots like Art Star Gallery & Boutique, Casa Papel, Ritual Ritual, and Gravy Studio & Gallery, all within a few blocks of each other on Second Street. Or duck into spots like Standard Tap, El Camino Real, 700 Club, or Urban Village Brewing for live music (no cover!), more locally made crafts and gifts, and a beer or a bite to eat.
Second Street Sessions goes from noon until 5 p.m. on 2nd Street from Spring Garden Street to Germantown Avenue. And if you stick around till the evening, you won’t want to miss the Parade of Spirits (formerly known as the Krampuslauf), a neighborhood tradition in its seventh year, coming through the neighborhood.
