Flow State Coffeebar Is Popping Up with Sweets at Garage Fishtown
They're serving cider donuts and decadent crepes at brunchtime this Saturday and Sunday.
Flow State Coffeebar, a dessert-centric cafe and coworking space, originally planned to open in Kensington this fall. According to their Facebook page, that opening has been pushed back to early 2018.
But don’t despair: you can get an early taste of chef Melanie Diamond-Manlusoc‘s acclaimed desserts when Flow State pops up this weekend at Garage Fishtown.
On Saturday, November 18th and Sunday, November 19th, the Flow State crew will take over the kitchen at Garage Fishtown at 100 East Girard Avenue. They’ll be frying up fresh cider donuts, served with a selection of dipping sauces, and turning out crepes with toasted coconut, cajeta (dreamy goat’s milk caramel) and black sesame seed brittle.
The sweet treats are available from 11 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday. It’s the perfect accompaniment to a leisurely session of day drinking and Skee-Ball.
