Registration Open for ODDyssey Half Marathon (And We Have a Discount Code!)
If after running the Philadelphia Half Marathon (go, you!), you’re already thinking about tackling your next 13.1-mile race, here’s one to consider: registration for the ODDyssey Half Marathon, going down June 11th, opened this morning.
The Fairmount Park race — one the OGs when it comes to Philadelphia races that end with beer — starts and ends at Memorial Hall, taking runners along both Kelly Drive and West River Drive and past Belmont Plateau. And while the timed race is USATF certified and great for serious runners, it’s got a fun side, too. Case in point: Around 30 percent of runners run in costume and the race ends with a a beer garden complete with free Sly Fox Brewing Company beer. The finish line festivities also include a live band and free massages for runners.
Registration for the race, capped at a small 3,500 runners, kicked off at 10 a.m. today and will run you $69 until December 1st, when it goes up to $74. But note: If you register with the code BWP64 before November 30th, you’ll snag your bib for $65.
