Composer and electronic musician George Lewis and collective Ensemble Pamplemousse pay tribute to the late musician and artist Terry Adkins through sound and images. It’s part of the Institute of Contemporary Art’s ongoing Endless Shout exhibition.
Chali 2na and Naughty Professor @ Ardmore Music Hall | Thursday, October 13
Chali 2na, founding member of hip-hop collective Jurassic 5, teams up with New Orleans-based jazz/funk outfit Naughty Professor. This quick teaser does an excellent job of making me want to see the show:

Drizzy had to postpone his planned October 13th show at the Wells Fargo Center (new date to be announced), but you can still dance awkwardly to “Hotline Bling” at the Foundry’s Drake Night.

Canadian rockers Sloan are on tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of their album One Chord to Another.
Jaymay @ Tin Angel | Sunday, October 16
Singer-songwriter Jaymay has a calm, straightforward sound with a focus on the lyrics. She’s on tour for her new album, To Tell The Truth.
Kongos @ Electric Factory | Sunday, October 16
Radio 104.5 brings us alt rock band Kongos, which is four brothers originally from London and South Africa. The Joy Formidable (from Wales) opens.
