Zach Ertz, Two Others Out For Eagles-Steelers
Zach Ertz (rib), Leodis McKelvin (hamstring) and Isaac Seumalo (pectoral) are out for the Eagles’ game against the Steelers on Sunday. However, Doug Pederson added that all three players are expected to be available for the Birds after the bye week following the Steelers game. Mychal Kendricks, (nose, quad) meanwhile, will be “good to go” this week.
Although Seumalo is expected to be available after the bye week, Pederson said Stefen Wisniewski would “probably” start at left guard if Lane Johnson’s suspension is upheld and Allen Barbre moves to right tackle. Pederson also noted that the upcoming bye week factored “a little bit” into the decision to hold the three Eagles out.
On defense, Ron Brooks will once again start at outside corner opposite of Nolan Carroll with McKelvin out, while Jalen Mills will play outside in nickel with Brooks shifting inside to the slot.
