5 Easy Best of Philly Party Outfits

Either way, this year’s Best of Philly Soirée is fast approaching (coming to Dilworth Plaza on Thursday, August 4th!) and it’s outfit crunch time.

Channel the vintage garden party of your dreams in this lighweight, off-the-shoulder maxi dress from Topshop ($90). The key to pulling off a maxi dress is to make sure the number isn’t too formal but also not too schleppy. (Hint: Avoid jersey at all costs.) Top it off with a jeweled suede choker from Aldo ($18) and nude sandals — these are basically wedges, which provide optimum support on iffy surfaces — from Stuart Weitzman ($228).
For those who are tempted to grab a bandage dress, please, please, please put down the Hervé Leger and pick up this graphic embellished number ($210, Topshop) instead. You get all of the sexiness (super-short hemline and sheer cutouts), but with major hip factor (textural beading and sculptural patterns). Keep the rest of your look simple with lace up block heels ($398, Stuart Weitzman) and a metallic clutch ($565).
Embrace the last few weeks of summer in bright colors and graphic eyeliner ($22, Sephora). This bubblegum Halston Heritage midi dress ($426, Net a Porter) and minimal tangerine sandals ($398, Neiman Marcus) reminds us of a summer sunset.
