Rihanna, Coldplay to Headline Made in America
Rihanna and Coldplay will headline the fifth annual Made in America Festival on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
The lineup was announced earlier this afternoon. Set times have not been announced, but since the first festival there is a “rock” headliner one night and a “hip-hop/R&B” headliner the other.
In addition to Rihanna and Coldplay, ColleGrove (the 2 Chainz/Lil Wayne collaboration), Chance the Rapper and DJ Khaled are on the lineup. Martin Garrix — currently ranked No. 3 on DJ Mag’s top 100 — and Jamie xx are the top DJs performing. Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros, as well as Grimes, are the buzzy indie performers.
Tickets go on sale next Monday, June 27th, at 10 a.m. Members of streaming service Tidal can purchase tickets early starting on Wednesday.
