All-American BBQ @ Dilworth Park All weekend long a full-fledged cookout is popping up under Billy Penn. Amid the springing fountains, hot dogs, burgers, smoked brisket, falafel burger, and corn on the cob sizzle on the grill to the sounds of various DJs and other live music.

Juneteenth Festival @ Historic Germantown The avenue’s 6300 block transports participants hundreds of years into the past, commemorating the genesis of abolitionists. The day kicks off at 5109 Germantown Avenue at the State Marker, observing the site of the writing of the First Protest Against Slavery. From there, the “Freedom Walk” embarks up Germantown Avenue to the Johnson House where you’ll find historical reenactments, food, music, cultural marketplace, Black Colleges Matter panel, Unsung Hero Award Ceremony and a beer garden.

Franklin Flea @ Reading Terminal  Up to 60 vendors invade the market offering antiques, vintage and up-cycled furniture, vintage clothing, collectibles, antiques, and delicious food, as well as displays of jewelry, art, and handmade goods by local artisans and designers.
