Cops Make Arrest in Shooting at 15th and Locust

Tyrone Wilson, 21, was charged with attempted murder and related offenses in the shooting of a man in Center City earlier this month.

Philadelphia Police have arrested a man in connection with the shooting earlier this month at 15th and Locust streets in Center City. Police today announced the apprehension of Tyrone Wilson, 21, for the shooting.

A 38-year-old man and a 50-year-old man were standing at the corner of 15th and Locust just before 1 a.m. on Tuesday, February 16th. Cops say Wilson walked toward them and shot the 38-year-old in his right arm. The pair both fled. The 38-year-old was taken to Hahnemann Hospital by police, where he underwent surgery. He was listed in critical condition at the time.

Wilson was charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, simple assault and related offenses.
