The Fins will make a strong, strong push for Adam Gase I’m told. Been locked on him for a while. Will try to keep from getting back to PHI

Earlier today, reports emerged that the Eagles had lined up Gase for a second interview this weekend, after meeting with him for eight hours on Tuesday.
3:01 — Adam Caplan says the Eagles may interview Doug Pederson “early next week.” Here’s an excerpt of what he said on ESPN (h/t Crossing Broad). “Doug Pederson will interview after the [Chiefs playoff] game, maybe early next week. Eagles know him, and the thing about Doug is, talking to people who have coached with him and know him, he’s got the right temperament to be a head coach.”
2:52 — Ian Rapoport has a name you can cross off as a potential candidate for the Eagles.

11:28 — Ben McAdoo, who will interview with the Eagles tomorrow, has some Pennsylvania roots.

11:16 — The Eagles are interested in a coordinator from a division rival, according to the New York Post’s Paul Schwartz.
Giants offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo will interview with the Eagles tomorrow. Met with the Giants yesterday. Of course, they know him. — Paul Schwartz (@NYPost_Schwartz) January 6, 2016
10:44 — According to a report from NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport, the Eagles have scheduled a second interview with Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase.
Sounds like Adam Gase impressed in Philly. I’m told the #Eagles plan to bring him back for a second interview this weekend. — Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) January 6, 2016
The Inquirer’s Jeff McLane reported Wednesday morning that Gase and the Eagles met for about eight hours during their interview Tuesday.
#Eagles interviewed Adam Gase approx. 8 hrs. Like Howie Roseman, doesn’t come from traditional football background. Didn’t play in college. — Jeff McLane (@Jeff_McLane) January 6, 2016
Gase is still expected to interview with the Browns and Dolphins at points this week, but it seems like, at least for now, the Eagles have a candidate they’re interested in. Adam Schefter said on 97.5 the Fanatic this morning that he believes the Eagles are “highly interested” in Gase.
