The Eagles announced Monday afternoon they signed seven players to reserve/futures contracts:

T Brett Boyko
G Malcolm Bunche
LB Brandon Hepburn
WR Freddie Martino
RB Kevin Monangai
DT Travis Raciti
LB Deontae Skinner

Futures contracts are available to players who didn’t finish the season on the active roster. The concept behind the contracts is that teams believe the players could warrant placement on the active roster the following season.

Last year, the Eagles signed Kenjon Barner, Josh Andrews, and Ed Reynolds to futures contracts, all of whom ended up on the active roster this year.

— Boyko, 23 years old, was selected in the second round of the 2015 CFL draft. The Eagles signed him to their practice squad in September.

— Bunche, 24 years old, went un-drafted in 2015. The Eagles signed him to their practice squad in September.

— Hepburn, 26 years old, was selected by the Lions in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft. The Eagles signed him to their practice squad before the 2014 season.

— Martino, 24 years old, went un-drafted in 2014. The Eagles signed him to their practice squad in August.

— Monangai, 22 years old, went un-drafted in 2015. The Eagles signed him in August, before releasing him, and then re-signing him to the practice squad later in the season.

— Raciti, 23 years old, went un-drafted in 2015. The Eagles signed him to their practice squad in September.

— Skinner, 25 years old, went un-drafted in 2014. The Eagles signed him to their practice squad in September.
