G Philly’s 10 Most Read Stories of 2015

It’s hard to believe that another year has gone by, and we’ve covered so much in 2015 that we thought we’d share the ten most read stories of the year. We based this list on the number of page views that the story received, and we only included new stories published in 2015. Without further ado, here’s what our readers thought was hot in 2015.

Transgender Woman Dr. Rachel Levine Named Tom Wolf’s Physician General: From January 2015: “Dr. Levine, a resident of Middletown, Pennsylvania, is currently a professor of Pediatrics and Psychiatry at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, where she also serves as chief of the Division of Adolescent Medicine and Eating Disorders, a program she created on her own. Two Gay Bashing Suspects Plead Guilty, No Jail Time: From October 2015: “Two of the three suspects in the September 2014 attack on a gay couple in Philadelphia entered guilty pleas on Thursday morning, bringing their cases to a close after months of plea negotiations. A third suspect indicated she plans to go to trial.”

Bucks County Couple Who Were Once Father and Son Get Married: From May 2015: “In what is perhaps one of the more bizarre marriage stories to come out of Pennsylvania since marriage equality was legalized a year ago this May, two men who were once father and son tied the knot in Bucks County. But it’s not quite as strange as it sounds.”
