Bensalem PD: Man Sold Fake Eagles Tickets at Parx

A New Jersey man bought tickets to Sunday's Cowboys-Eagles game for $600. They were counterfeit.

Bensalem Police are looking for a man who they say sold counterfeit Eagles tickets to Sunday’s home opener against the Cowboys.

The buyer, from New Jersey, said he read an ad on Craigslist for a pair of tickets to the Eagles game for $600. He traveled to Parx, the casino and racetrack in Bensalem, to meet with the seller on the Wednesday before the game, September 16th.

Eventually, he discovered the tickets were counterfeit. Police released the above image of the seller of the tickets, who, for some reason decided to sell his fake tickets in a place where there are a ton of surveillance cameras. (Commenters on Facebook are pointing this out too.)

Anyone with information about the counterfeit ticket salesman is asked to call the Bensalem PD at 215-633-3719.

On the plus side, the seller of the fake tickets probably prevented the buyer from seeing the Philadelphia Eagles get throttled by the Dallas Cowboys in person.
