Brauhaus Schmitz Turns Six Celebrates with Whetstone Preview
On Monday, June 29th Brauhaus Schmitz will celebrate its sixth birthday with a fundraising party to benefit the Friends of South Street Police Mini Station. For a $20 minimum donation, you can enjoy a beer or wine from an open bar and buffet. The best part? The buffet will be a preview of Whetstone Tavern, the anticipated spot from Brauhaus chef Jeremy Nolen and owner Doug Hager.
Here’s the Whetstone menu line up:
Kung Pao Chicken Wings
Philadelphia Pepper Pot Soup
Mini Crab Cakes with pickled vegetable remoulade
Steak Tartare with pickled green peppercorns, dijon and shallots on crispy chips
Sharp Provolone Polenta with broccoli rabe and sliced pork chop
Bloody Mary Mussels
Shells & Cheese
Roasted Beef Tenderloin with green peppercorn brandy cream sauce and potato galette
Thank God for buffets; we’re definitely getting seconds.
