Change of Plans: Philly VegFest Won’t Be at Clark Park This Year

A few weeks ago, we told you guys VegFest, the free festival celebrating all things vegetarian, would be making its way back to Philly June 6th (Sadly, the same day as Be Well Philly Boot Camp, our day-long fitness fest — but no worries, you can go after you get your sweat on!). And when we announced that the festival would be back for a second year, the location of the 2015 festival was supposed to be Clark Park, but looks like there’s been a change of plans.

As Philly VegFest posted on Facebook, they had to chance the location of this year’s festival from the much-larger space of Clark Park back to Headhouse Square due to unforeseen circumstances. But if you’re worried that this year’s festival will be just as cramped as last year’s was, not to fear: “2nd Street will be shut down for the event, so there will twice as much space as last year!!” they said in the post. Phew.
