5:28 p.m.: The Jets doing their homework:

The Jets quietly brought Oregon QB Marcus Mariota to Florham Park for a visit on 4/2, five days after working him out privately in Eugene.

12:42 p.m.: Make of this what you will, but a Chargers team source tells the San Diego Union-Tribune that the team has not talked to the Titans “at all” about a Philip Rivers trade.

7:18 a.m.: Bob McGinn of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel always does a great job with his draft series. He has USC’s Nelson Agholor rated as the No. 4 wide receiver.

Third-year junior. “He’s kind of like Jeremy Maclin,” one scout said. “He can play both (outside and slot). His best things are versatility and route running. You wish he was bigger, but besides that he’s pretty solid.” Nigerian; moved to the U.S at 5. “Very similar to Marquise Lee,” a second scout said. “Slender build. Good speed, not special speed.” Started for two years, finished with 178 catches for 2,572 (14.4) and 20 TDs. “(Randall) Cobb might be a little bit stronger, but it’s the same quickness,” a third scout said. “He makes people miss. Just skinny.” Said a fourth scout: “He’s OK. Gets pushed around.”

7:03 a.m.: More and more people seem to think that Marcus Mariota could still happen.

6:59 a.m.: According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, no meaningful contract talks have occurred between the Eagles and Sam Bradford. Per Florio, Bradford’s camp would be willing to talk extension with the Eagles, but that won’t be the case if he’s traded again.

As Joel Corry pointed out last month, there is little incentive for Bradford to sign a contract extension now. But we’ll see if the fact that he only has one year remaining on his deal factors in to potential trade talks.

Right now, this feels like the Philip Rivers/Sam Bradford/Marcus Mariota Draft….Tons of chatter/speculation around these 3 QB’s.

6:50 a.m.: From Tony Pauline of Draft Insider:

After my interview with Bull and Fox I made further inquiries and can confirm both the Chargers and Eagles are exploring the possibility of maneuvering up for Mariota through the Browns and both teams have had conversations on the topic. This of course is contingent on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers not selecting Mariota with the first pick, which is a greater possibility than many presently predict, as well as the Titans passing on the Heisman Trophy winner. A league source told me if the Titans are ready to deal the pick then the Browns hold the most powerful position in the draft and the ability to dictate whether they or another team make the move for Mariota.
