A Man Named Joel Burger Is Marrying a Woman Named Ashley King and Burger King Is Paying For It

Joel Burger and Ashley King would have had one of those amazing stories anyway, because they’ve known each other since kindergarten. They got the nickname “Burger King” in fifth grade, stayed friends in high school, and started dating in college.

And now, they’re getting married, and will literally be the Burger-Kings.

But that’s not all! The latest update to this story is that Burger King, the actual fast food giant, has offered to foot the bill for their upcoming summer wedding. The restaurant peeps told the couple over a Skype session yesterday.

This shall be perhaps the greatest name merger of our time—save for my personal favorite: When Lauren Bush married David Lauren.
